Why I Created an Organic Oil Cleanser (and Why Your Skin Might Be Crying Out for One Too)

Why I Created an Organic Oil Cleanser (and Why Your Skin Might Be Crying Out for One Too)

Over the years of formulating and working closely with women navigating dry, sensitive, and changing skin, I started to notice a pattern… and it wasn’t a good one.

So many people either weren’t cleansing their skin at all, or they were using the wrong products entirely.

Some were relying on face wipes, others were using harsh foaming cleansers that left their skin feeling tight, stripped, and uncomfortable. Some did nothing at all, and many rinsed with water, thinking that was enough.

It’s not. And your skin knows it.

The Problem: Cleansing Has Been Overcomplicated (and Misunderstood)

Your skin faces a lot every single day - makeup, SPF, pollution, environmental toxins, sweat, excess oil, and microscopic debris that you can’t even see.

If that isn’t removed properly, it builds up. This can lead to:

  • Dull, lacklustre skin
  • Congestion and breakouts
  • Increased sensitivity
  • A compromised skin barrier

But here’s where things go wrong…

In trying to “clean” their skin, many people end up stripping it instead.

Foaming cleansers, especially those not suited to dry or sensitive skin, can disrupt the skin’s natural lipid barrier. That barrier is what keeps moisture in and irritants out. Once it’s compromised, you’re left chasing hydration with serums and moisturisers that can’t fully do their job.

It becomes a cycle.

Why an Oil Cleanser?

This is where oil cleansing changes everything.

It works on a simple principle: like dissolves like.

Oil-based cleansers bind to oil-based impurities on your skin - things like sebum, sunscreen, and makeup - and gently lift them away without disrupting your skin’s natural balance.

Unlike traditional cleansers, a well-formulated cleansing oil:

  • Removes even stubborn makeup and SPF effortlessly
  • Lifts away pollutants and daily grime
  • Supports, rather than strips, the skin barrier
  • Leaves skin soft, nourished, and comfortable

And importantly… your skin doesn’t feel tight afterwards. It feels right.

Introducing Immaculate Cleansing Oil: A Ritual, Not a Routine

This is exactly why I created Immaculate Cleansing Oil.

I wanted something that didn’t just cleanse - but truly cared for the skin at the same time.

It’s an oil-to-milk cleanser. It starts as a luxurious blend of organic oils and Vitamin E that transforms into a light, milky emulsion when water is added, melting away makeup and impurities. This allows it to rinse clean effortlessly, leaving no greasy residue behind.

What Makes It Different?

Every ingredient in Immaculate Cleansing Oil has been chosen with intention - for all skin types, even oily skin, but especially for sensitive and maturing skin.

Using a blend of organic oils, it’s designed to do more than cleanse.

It works to:

  • Dissolve makeup, SPF, and daily build-up without harsh rubbing
  • Nourish the skin with carefully selected plant oils
  • Support the skin barrier, helping to reduce dryness and sensitivity over time
  • Leave skin feeling soft, hydrated, and balanced - never stripped

Instead of that “squeaky clean” feeling (which is actually a sign of damage), your skin feels calm, comfortable, and replenished.

The Shift Most People Need to Make

If your skin often feels:

  • Tight after cleansing
  • Dry no matter how much moisturiser you use
  • Sensitive or reactive
  • Dull and lacking glow

There’s a strong chance your cleanser is part of the problem.

Switching to a cleansing oil isn’t just a small change - it’s often the turning point.

Cleansing Should Support Your Skin

Cleansing is the foundation of your entire skincare routine. If you get that wrong, everything else has to work twice as hard.

But when you get it right?

Your skin becomes softer. Calmer. More resilient. And everything you apply afterwards works better.

That’s the difference I wanted to create with Immaculate Cleansing Oil.

Not just clean skin…
But healthy, supported skin - starting from the very first step.
