From Nurse to Natural Skincare: A Journey of Care, Compassion & Connection

Hello, I’m Amanda-founder of Natural Zest Skincare.
With more than 25 years as a Registered Nurse, caring has always come naturally to me. My work has taught me that true wellness isn’t found in quick fixes - it’s cultivated through consistent, mindful acts of self-care that nurture both body and mind.


My path into skincare began with my own quiet struggle-dry, sensitive, and reactive skin that left me feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. Like many women, I turned to makeup for confidence, but deep down, I longed for a solution that was gentle on my skin, not just cosmetic.


Combining my nursing knowledge with formal training in Organic Skincare Formulation and Aromatherapy, I began creating small-batch, natural products designed to calm, restore, and support skin health - without compromise.


At Natural Zest, every formulation is made with mindful intention, using ingredients chosen not only for their proven skin health benefits, but for their sensory qualities - how they soothe, uplift, and restore your sense of wellbeing. Every ingredient has a purpose, and every product is made with your health and wellness in mind. Your skincare isn't just about your beauty - it's about your health, and you can't have beauty without health. I want to empower women to reconnect with their skin, their senses and themselves - to experience skincare as an act of self-care - not correction.
