Pohutukawa, traditionally used in Maori herbal medicine (Rongoā) for treating wounds, contains Ellagic Acid in its bark. It is a micronutrient found in fruits and vegetables and is known for its antioxidant properties that protect against free radicals, helping to combat ageing. It prevents inflammation and collagen breakdown, reducing the formation of wrinkles.
